I'm a 4th year PhD student in the UW-Madison English department's Composition and Rhetoric program. My dissertation research focuses on collective intelligence and collaborative communities of practice in fan wikis. But I'm also interested in how we might borrow from these highly motivated sites of production for the purposes of writing pedagogy (without killing all the magic).
